How Geckos stick: Van der Waals forces →
fuckyeahchemistry: NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC: Geckos, nature’s supreme climbers, can race up a polished glass wall at a meter per second and support their entire body weight from a wall with only a single toe. But the gecko’s remarkable climbing ability has remained a mystery since Artistotle first observed it in the fourth century B.C. Working at Lewis & Clark College, the University of...

Peace, Love and Hostelling: Want the Best... →
There should be more of these opportunities, and they should be advertised in a better way. The majority of university students would love the opportunity to explore and diversify their experiences with some travel. I’d love to see how this apparent island looks on the far-right of this photo, but nonetheless.. Pretty wild set-up. Maybe it’s a getaway for some big-wig billionaire? From my experience on islands, I bet it’s really windy. . And full of bird dung.

Daww. If only things were this simple. People could be cut-out pieces and you fit them into the matching spot, one by one. Reality is a little more trying ;)

A Bed Adrift on the Water →
Seems like a good place to throw up a bed and have a sleep. I like the addition of the candles. Adds that extra romantic flair.
